Faraston Dogs is a family run business based in Scotland, specialising in Labradors, GSPs and Border Terriers.
We are passionate about producing healthy, well bred dogs with sound temperaments, suitable for both loving pet homes and working gundog homes. Our priority is always temperament, health and suitability for family life.
All of our breeding dogs are fully health tested, and our puppies are raised with care, structure and early foundations to help them grow into confident, well rounded dogs. Alongside breeding, we also train selected puppies to be sold as older trained dogs, giving them the best possible start before joining their new homes.We've been training dogs professionally since 2010, both in the UK and abroad.
Our background as a gamekeeper / deer stalker and a trained veterinary nurse with over 15 years of experience in dog training, we understand the importance of a well bred and well prepared dog.
We don’t follow a one size fits all training method, we train the dog in front of us, tailoring their development to suit their future owner’s needs. For those who purchase from us, we provide ongoing support, ensuring a successful partnership between dog and owner.
Our puppies grow up in a busy household, socialising with a large group of dogs and regularly experiencing different environments to ensure they transition smoothly into their new homes.
